Adobe Premier

 3D explode effect I tryed to sync this to the beat drop.

 

Duration speed chaning I speeded um my animations for hex by 175+% to keep it all within a minitue and change of pace.

 

On the top razor selection tool used to cut up audio and media.

  

Texturaize so my image crossed into another and timed these effect according to my audio.

 

Roll away effect you can see it the image above.

Here I was expermineting with the gradient as you can see I darked it however I found that after exporting the video it had quality issues.

Random invert effect I used in my footage.

Fading my audio for a clean finish using the crossfader and my cut up audio.

Exported at  HDTV 1080P for high quality .

Basic knowledge of photoshop

Here I go over things I have  learned/ rembered about photoshop also how I put them to use in this project.
The magic wand tool I used a lot in my project for editing images once selected your mosue icon turns into a wand.The magic wand tool selects regions from a image by using their contrass ratio this is useful for copying , cutting and transforming selected areas of your image.

I used the magic tool for various thing sometimes to move my text if I was having difficulty selecting it, deleting the white in text if you have imported it from else where. Also good for adding effect.

Gradient tool - First selecting sometimes its paired with the bucket tool so its ideal to select it first. Afterward on the top of their willl be an option bar.

Here you can change the gradient and even save gradient as a counstom preset for future refrence there are numerous options you can use on this bar creating a variety of effects.

After I select a region and using the bar on the last image this would be the effect.

But to show a little more of how this would be applyed and how I attempted to experiment with it using a diffrent typr of gradient.

CD cover

 The CD cover was set with the following dimension of 42 mm internally and 112 externally. Using the guidelines tool to design it made it simple task and more accurate.
Experimenting with background images and font I came up with this concept for my cd cover.

I found that this added a vibrate life using bright colour with a fun sort of feeling I belive this will make the audience feel enthusatic before they insert the cd. For the font I selected orange cause it had the most friendly feeling but the type of font gives a electronic/digital theme relating to the the intension once again a website.

DVD Label Progess

I have recently made changes to my DVD label by adding a firmer gardient from one side I felt this helped merge the left and right handside of the image. Also I have added are slogan on the top right "Seprate the best from the rest" this sort of related it more to the intension of the website.
Also a nice large white title on the left in contrast to the dark end of the gradient also fitting in with the black and white theme I found it follow the minimalistic and asthetically pleasing intension I set out with.

Photo shoop

The DVD case label was made with the guide tool using the following dimensions 129mm x 184 mm for the page with a trim area of 3mm to prevent thin areas of white on the edge. For the spine 14mm x 184mm.

Today  was working on my DVD  case label using my friends pieces of art work to aid my project I edited it into the correct dimension added a bit of text. I inserted a gardient on one side and then to combine the other art work I used a a method of fadding called masking and used brush tool to control trasnparency of the image eventually comibining the two.

Moving forwards

Today I did measurements for CD case and my CD all of which I put onto VLE afterwards.
Doing my meseaurments for my cover and label I used the guide line tools and a ruler- which shows up on the sides with figures just to confirm I had inserted the values correctly. On the top of photoshop there is a view button wich has a drop down bar inside I found new guides which allows you to insert specfic values to your guide lines providing a greater accuracy and saving time.

 This is the template for the cover of the case which I saved as a template because I inteneded on making more than one draft for my project.

Project 7

For my first semester I will be creating a promotional video with DVD labeling and casing for my reviewing site.
My project will consist of 3 promotional pieces 
Waka reviewing site "www.bewaka.com". My site that will be reviewing products such as mobile phones.
One the casing of the DVD it will remain consistant with the theme of my website which make use of a minimalist design similar to google concept.
